Eight Katana presets and what to rebuild them with
Outfit checks, chrome orbits, clone squads — what each preset reference does and which photos to pair it with.
Why presets beat a blank upload
Every preset is a finished edit whose motion is already proven — the camera path, the cuts, the rhythm. Starting from a preset skips the hardest step, finding reference footage that rebuilds cleanly, and still leaves the cast entirely yours.
Style and Identity presets
Outfit Check, Dreamy Streetwear and Menu Outfit Swap are the look-book family — pair them with full-length photos of a person or a styled mannequin. Tiger Eyes and Clone Squad are identity plays: portraits and face-forward shots rebuild strongest.
Product and Motion presets
Chrome Orbit is built for product shots — a clean object photo becomes a rotating hero shot. Cyberpunk Scan overlays analysis graphics on a single subject; solo portraits and gadgets both take it well. Palette Showcase cycles colorways, ideal for a product line.
Run one, then run it again
Preset edits draft cheaply at 480p — check the take, swap one subject photo or one setting, and compare. The reference never changes, so you always know what moved.
